We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge and experience working with heavy machinery.

*Responsibilities*

- Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy HDD equipment

- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication

- Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems

- Assemble and disassemble machinery components

- Conduct repairs on machinery as needed

- Operate forklifts to move equipment within the facility

*Requirements*

- Proven experience as a Heavy HDD Equipment Mechanic ,Pipe line equipment &

Hydraulic pump equipment.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand tools

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks (50 LB)

- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or team members

-Travel across canada

-Minimum Class 1 license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Mechanical: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Class 1 Licence (preferred)
• Trade Certificate (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

REPORTS TO:

HDD Operations Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The HDD yard Supervisor has an integral role in the operations of our HDD team and as such, attendance is an important requirement of this role. This position is a supervisory level position; Training will be provided; the ideal candidate has a Class 1 license and basic HDD Knowledge preferred. 

Position is 5 days a week( Full time)  with overtime and weekends as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain order and cleanliness in the yard amongst the HDD equipment and yard, provide support and general labor as required
• Maintain order of consumables and restocking of equipment as necessary
• Ensure HDD equipment and tooling is re stocked and loaded for jobs as necessary
• Communicate with HDD field team to fill and deliver necessary equipment and consumables to remote job sites
• Oversee loading and unloading of HDD equipment, pre and post job
• Use company software to complete required paperwork for jobs
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Participate in process improvement initiatives
• Maintain an orderly workspace
• Good Communication skills
• Contribute to a positive, congenial work environment
• Perform other duties as directed including general yard work
• Equipment Used Forklift, loader, etc.
• Be able to work unsupervised

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Class 1 license required with clean driving abstract 
• Ideal candidate has previous equipment operation and HDD experience
• The  ability to lift 50lb is required. Previous experience with HDD equipment and vendors preferred
